Week 4 - April 9, 2008

Summary:

Buying web domains and web hosting
Demo of domain & hosting accounts
Adding to your Web Site: Google Maps
Adding to your Web Site: Flickr slideshow
Adding to your Web Site: Plugins (Google search, Weather.com, MP3 Players, etc.)

Assignments: From this point on, your main assignment is to be working on your final project. There are two more graded assignments before your final project:

  • April 24 - Incorporate some kind of web plug-in to your web site. Email Matthew with the address of the page you want graded for this assignment. Due Thursday, April 24, 11:59pm (Extra day in case you have questions). Instructions here: Website Plugin Assignment.
  • May 7 - Rough Draft of your final project web site. You will present your work in progress for peer review. Due May 7, 6:00pm
