Landscape Web Page

Overview: Your assignment is to create a web page that uses tables to arrange pictures next to each other. Also, this assignment will give you more practice preparing images for web pages. Here's a sample:

Download the pictures: Start with an empty folder somewhere (maybe named Landscape), download the original pictures you need in this zip file (or you can use your own images), save the images in the folder, and then edit all the images first before you make a web page with those pictures.

Edit the pictures and create the web page: You can use Adobe Photoshop (or other graphics software) to create suitable images for the web page  See the very basics of Image processing using Photoshop. Make at least 1 of them round, using the circle selection tool. Also: add some text to at least one of the pictures. Use WORD (or other software you like) to create a web page named landscape.htm with at least five separate images in it like the sample above, and upload the web page and landscape_files folder to your Biola firstclass web publishing folder.

Things to accomplish:

·        The page should be published on BUBBS with the URL http://www.bubbs.biola.edu/~your.name/landscape.htm

  • All of the pictures should show up and sized appropriately using Photoshop or other graphics software (in the sample above, the pictures are about 350 pixels wide) .
  • The page title has been changed (not "Untitled 1")
  • There is text on at least one of the pictures
  • One of the pictures in the round shape
